· Tovaglioli per decoupage

· Cotone perlè + ago senza punta
· Filo Twist-art
Tagliare la iuta a misura del quaderno, lasciando un’eccedenza di 2 cm sui lati lunghi, e di 9 cm sui lati corti. Orlare la stoffa con uno zig-zag (io l’ho fatto a macchina). Con l’uncinetto bordare la tela con un giro di maglia bassa, dopo avere ripiegato e imbastito l’eccedenza dei lati lunghi. A questo punto, ripiegare anche i lati corti, in modo da formare 2 tasche, e imbastire. Per fermare le due tasche, lavorare a punto gambero sui lati lunghi, prendendo insieme i due strati di stoffa sovrapposta.
Terminata la confezione, passiamo alla decorazione:
ESEMPIO 1 Creare una cornice con cotone perlé: due semplici filze in verde, legate da un punto pechinese in arancio.
ESEMPIO 2 Con il filo Twist-art creare una doppia filza ripassata. Bloccare i fili sul dritto del lavoro, aprendoli per formare un fiore.
In entrambi i casi, scegliere il soggetto da decoupage (meglio se il colore di fondo del tovagliolo è chiaro come la tela.) Applicare il motivo con la colla per tessuto e fare asciugare. Stirare sul rovescio.
